The book, 'The Clew' by Sylvia Ward with Avril Newey pub. Abeon Ltd. 2002 ISBN 0-9546094-0-9 details the actual physical, psychological, public and private journeys that Avril, together with her friends, made during these early years. The 'Writings' that appear in the book will be included in the following pages but this time within a broader context. A few of the earliest 'Writings' can also be found in the book, 'The Truth Vibration' by David Icke Aquarian Press 1991 ISBN 1-85538-136-2.
M y intention now is, via the medium of this Blog, to present weekly (circumstances permitting) and chronologically all of the non-personal and non-group specific material that I received between the years 1990 -98. I will detail the 'Writings' in sections and, at the end of each section, I will offer my own hypotheses on the nature, content and meaning of the words in that particular section. I have for many years been encouraged to research, discuss and come to my own understanding of this material and my hope is that, as a result, I will be able, through this medium, to add something to the debate regarding the phenomena that has become known as channeling as well as contributing to discussion regarding the environmental and other challenges that our Earth is now facing.
I ask readers not to overlook the fact that whatever received wisdom they are presented with on the following pages was filtered through that mind which, from my birth up until April 1990, had shaped itself around my personal aptitudes, experiences and preferences and, as a result, had also gradually, throughout that time, developed the pools of language and concepts from which these 'voices' in my head drew their own expression.
Yet, vitally, the message must never be confused with the messenger. Therefore, I can only now, at this new beginning, request any reader who is fascinated enough to wish to read on, to approach the words and concepts that will electronically appear before them in the weeks and months to come, with a discriminating, patient and an open mind. For as many can already affirm there is, without any doubt, a journey to be made here and a great treasure to be uncovered amongst these pages. You alone, Reader, can discover whether it lies somewhere hidden within the words themselves or buried alongside your pathway through them.
