I was born in Warwickshire at the very start of World War 2 into a family which, on both sides, had lived and worked the land at the heart of England, for at least, 800 years. I was fortunate to live close to grandparents who remembered country wisdom and practised old country skills.
From a very young age I went to church and became familiar with Church of England doctrine and ritual. Our parish church was always a place of stillness and renewal for me. In later life I have developed my own spiritual philosophy.
I have been a library assistant, an early child-care advisor, a company director, a lecturer, a psychic consultant and a poet.
I am a member of an Earth healing group and, with two friends, a founder of the 'Blackthorn Blossoms', which seeks to recover, record and present Warwickshire country lore.
